QALQILYA: Two Palestinians were injured by live ammunition fired by Israeli forces in Qalqilya this evening, according to local sources.

The sources informed WAFA that the two young men sustained gunshot wounds-one in the hand and another in the foot-while they were near the Israeli apartheid wall in the Al-Marj area on the northern edge of the city.

The two were transported to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in the city, where their injuries were described as stable.

In a related development, Israeli forces stormed the village of Azzun Atma south of Qalqilya, setting up a military checkpoint at the village entrance. The forces stopped and inspected the vehicles of local residents and checked their IDs, though no arrests have been reported.
