Two people injured, one by a live bullet, six detained, including a journalist, in an Israeli army raid of Nablus

Two Palestinians were this morning injured, one by a live bullet fired by Israeli soldiers, and six were detained, including a journalist, during an army assault on the northern West Bank city of Nablus, according to medical and local sources. Ahmad Jibril, head of ambulance and emergency at the Red Crescent, said one person was shot in the pelvis by a live bullet and another was injured in the eye by shrapnel. Both were admitted to a hospital in Nablus for treatment. According to sources, soldiers raided several neighborhoods in Nablus and were confronted by local residents. The soldiers, who raided several homes including the home of the journalist Mohammad Muna and detained him along with five other people, fired live bullets, tear gas, and sound bombs at the Palestinians causing injuries and suffocation.
