Rabat: Upon the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, the Foundation Mohammed V for Solidarity is launching on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the Marhaba Operation to welcome Moroccans living abroad. The Foundation, alongside all national stakeholders, will initiate the comprehensive welcome program simultaneously in Morocco, France, Spain, and Italy at midnight.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this operation, under the effective Presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, features a support system strengthened since the previous edition. It involves 26 reception centers across Morocco and abroad to ensure close assistance at the main transit points used by Moroccans living overseas.
In Morocco, the program encompasses twenty sites, including the ports of Tanger Med, Tangier City, Al Hoceima, and Nador Bni Nsar, as well as several major airports and border posts. Abroad, six Marhaba sites will operate in the European ports of Genoa, S¨te, Marseille, Motril, Almera, and Algeciras.
Active from June 10 to September 15, the operation offers services such as social assistance and medical care at all sites, supporting Moroccans during both the arrival and return phases. Nearly 1,400 people, including Foundation teams, social workers, doctors, paramedical staff, and volunteers, are mobilized to ensure comprehensive assistance.
This program is supported by the Central Coordination Office (BCC) in Rabat, which supervises the activities of the assistance teams, coordinates stakeholder mobilization, and oversees the Marhaba hotline. The hotline, available 24/7, can be reached through specific numbers from abroad, within Morocco, and in Italy, France, and Spain.
