Vatel Bahrain holds induction day

Vatel College of Hospitality held an induction day for its new students of the academic year 2023-2024.

BTEA CEO praised the quality educational services provided by Vatel and its personnel to graduate a promising generation of national competencies in the tourism sector that contributes to providing the tourism sector with local capabilities to consolidate its development.

Dr. Qaedi said that Vatel has contributed to the development of the tourism, hospitality and hotel sector in Bahrain and it helped to support BTEA in achieving the goals of the tourism strategy 2022-2026 of diversifying the tourism product and increasing the contribution of the tourism sector to the GDP.

He added that Vatel also added to the goals of the tourism strategy by attracting more tourists from all over the world and introducing them to authentic Bahraini hospitality with qualified Bahraini personnel.

Dr. Qaedi and the ambassador welcomed and wished the students success in their new academic year.

The ambassador commended the Kingdom’s development, especially in preparing students and graduates to engage in the labour market.

The ambassador affirmed that the tourism sector in Bahrain is one of the important strategic sectors, expressing the embassy’s readiness to cooperate with Vatel by exchanging expertise.

Shaikh Khalid wished the new students success, affirming the readiness of the academic and administrative staff to address any inquiry or challenge the students may face.
