RAMALLAH: Weather on Monday is expected to be hot with a rise in temperature, which becomes two degrees above the normal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly, and occasionally picking up in speed. Sea conditions will see waves of light to moderate height.
As evening approaches, temperatures will become mild in mountainous regions and relatively warm elsewhere.
No change in weather conditions or temperature is expected on Tuesday.
Very hot conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesdayu with a rise in temperature, approaching three degrees warmer than the annual average as the weather continues to be very hot.
Temperature is expected to rise again on Thursday to become four degrees warmer than the annual average as the weather continues to be very hot.
PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and
dry trees abound.
