22nd Birthday of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Celebrated with National Fervor

Rabat: The Royal Family and the Moroccan populace are commemorating the 22nd birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, a significant event underscoring the steadfast loyalty of the Moroccan people to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, which serves as a pillar of the Kingdom’s unity and stability. This occasion brings to mind the joyful announcement made by the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol, and Chancellery on May 8, 2003, regarding the birth of Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan at the Royal Palace in Rabat, named in honor of his grandfather, the late King Hassan II.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the celebration of Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan’s birthday reaffirms the deep ties between the Moroccan citizens and the Alaouite Throne, through their oath of allegiance to His Majesty King Mohammed VI. This bond highlights the King’s role as Commander of the Faithful and protector of the nation’s supreme interests.

The occasion also provides an opportunity to reflect on Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan’s recent engagements. On April 21, he presided over the opening of the 17th Moroccan International Agricultural Show in Meknes, focusing on sustainable development and water management in agriculture. Earlier, on March 3, the Crown Prince, alongside Princess Lalla Khadija, launched the “Ramadan 1446” operation benefiting millions of Moroccans during the holy month.

On the diplomatic front, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan received Chinese President Xi Jinping in Casablanca on November 21 and participated in the signing of agreements with French President Emmanuel Macron in October. His involvement in military and educational events, such as graduation ceremonies and the launch of the Casablanca seawater desalination plant, underscores his growing role in national development.

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan’s appearances at significant national and international events emphasize his preparedness for future responsibilities, maintaining Morocco’s rich cultural heritage and values.
