Paris: The 23rd Meeting of the Moroccan-French Joint Military Commission was held in Paris, marking a significant step in the ongoing strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic. This meeting reflects the renewed momentum and shared ambition expressed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Emmanuel Macron during the historic 2024 visit.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, both the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and the Chief of the French Defence Staff praised the excellence of Moroccan-French military cooperation. They highlighted the positive results achieved, particularly in 2025, and emphasized the importance of expanding the exchange of experience and expertise to other areas of mutual interest.
The meeting also served as a platform for both parties to agree on the activities to be included in the 2026 cooperation program. This gathering is an important milestone in the strategic dialogue between the two armies, aiming to foster mutually beneficial cooperation and align strategic approaches to security and technological challenges.
Furthermore, the commission seeks to strengthen bilateral military cooperation in various fields, including joint training and capacity-building, thus continuing to build on the strong military ties between Morocco and France.
