Rabat: Stock Exchange (Casablanca): The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened in the green on Monday, with its main index, the MASI, gaining 0.14% to reach 14,907.47 points.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, shortly after the opening, the MASI.20, an index of the 20 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.19% to 1,212.68 points. The MASI ESG index, highlighting companies with top ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, advanced 0.23% to 1,066.87 points.

On Friday, the MASI had closed with a 0.12% gain, indicating a positive trend as the new week commenced. The early increases in the indices suggest investor confidence and a favorable market sentiment as trading began.
