This agreement, the first of its kind, inked by the chairman of the group ABA Technology Mohamed Benouda, and president of the CNDP Omar Seghrouchni, formalizes the membership of ABA Technology in this program established by the commission on July 9, 2020, with the aim of supporting the compliance of the group and its ecosystem in terms of protection of personal data, said a statement by the CNDP.

Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly formulate recommendations and proposals focused on digital trust and the internet of things (loT), it noted.

In addition, the ABA Technology group is committed, through DATA-TIKA, to integrate the protection of personal data in all its projects, and to promote it as a central element necessary for digital trust and technological development.

This four-year partnership is based on three strategic components: the first relates to strengthening compliance with Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, including through the organization of training sessions, information and exchange on the loT for the benefit of trainers of ABA Technology.

The second component, on the inversion of the paradigm and projects of the group ABA Technology related to the DATA, provides for the realization of workshops and brainstormings on the uses of data (mainly personal) as envisaged or desired by the group and its ecosystem.

In the same vein, the CNDP will accompany ABA Technology in the identification of its problems, in terms of data protection, in particular IoT and RGPD architectures, data generation (sensors, gateways, connectivity), data hosting (cloud, edge), data classification (anonymization), data transformation (algorithms) and data valorization (services).

The third part concerns the feeding of guidelines for digital trust system by formalizing the conclusions identified in the first and second components.
