Addis Ababa: Pan-African Youth Union’s African Youth Colloquium Kicks off

Addis Ababa - The African Youth Colloquium organized by the Pan-African Youth Union, on the sidelines of the African Union Heads of State Summit, kicked off on Saturday in Addis Ababa. During this event, to run until February 19, young leaders, activists and senior African officials will exchange ideas, share best practices and strengthen ties between continental institutions to promote cooperation and progress in Africa. Held under theme 'Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa,' the colloquium is an important dynamic platform supported by the Pan-African Youth Union. Featuring plenary sessions, interactive workshops and inspiring presentations, this meeting will offer a unique opportunity to stimulate civic engagement and foster the personal and professional development of young Africans. The Pan-African Youth Union is the continental organization responsible for overseeing the national youth councils of the continent's 54 countries.
