Marrakech: Angola and Zimbabwe played out a 1-1 draw on Friday at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, in Group B’s 2nd matchday of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025. Gelson Dala gave the Palancas Negras the lead in the 23rd minute, before Knowledge Musona equalized for the Warriors in first-half stoppage time (45’+6).

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, following this result, Angola and Zimbabwe are level in third place in Group B with one point each. The other Group B fixture of the second round will see South Africa face Egypt.
