Algeria: Algeria cruised to a 3-0 victory over Sudan on Wednesday in their opening Group E match of the Africa Cup of Nations played at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat. Riyad Mahrez led the way with a brace, scoring in the 2nd and 61st minutes, while Ibrahim Maza sealed the win later on with a goal in the 85th minute.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this win puts Algeria top of Group E with three points, ahead of Burkina Faso, also on three points, while Equatorial Guinea and Sudan sit dead last.
