Rabat: The Senegalese national team qualified for the final of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations (Morocco 2026) after defeating their Moroccan counterparts 7-6 in a penalty shootout (1-1 in regulation time) on Thursday at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Senegal’s goal was scored by Mouhamed Wagner in the 23rd minute. The Moroccan team managed to equalize in the final moments of the match with a goal from Ismail El Aoud in the 99th minute of play. The match proceeded to a penalty shootout, where Senegal emerged victorious, securing their place in the finals.
