Al-quds: The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, under the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, distributed toys and gifts to children on Wednesday at the Al-Aqsa Mosque esplanade as part of the “Recreational Activities for Children” initiative, organized on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, this initiative is carried out in several neighborhoods of the Holy City as well as in surrounding towns and villages, in response to requests from local community organizations, to bring joy and happiness to children and improve their living conditions.
After the Eid prayer, the Al-Aqsa Mosque esplanade was filled with joy and jubilation as the Agency’s teams distributed gifts, toys, and treats to families gathered for the occasion.
On this occasion, residents expressed their gratitude for this gesture, helping children reconnect with and enjoy the Eid atmosphere, emphasizing that such initiatives can help overcome daily hardships and help their children keep fond
memories of their mosque and their city.
As part of this humanitarian initiative by Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, various recreational activities are planned in about ten neighborhoods of the Holy City, targeting children aged 4 to 12.
These activities include setting up inflatable structures, holding shows and clown performances, and distributing gifts. The goal is to create safe spaces where Al-Quds families can find entertainment, thereby reinforcing the Agency’s humanitarian and social mission: to provide comfort and support for the resilience of the residents and to preserve the Arab identity of Al-Quds.
