Algiers: Algeria Presse Service (APS) and the General Directorate of National Archives signed a cooperation agreement in Algiers, establishing a framework for collaboration in archiving, document management, information exchange, and joint activities of common interest.
According to Algeria Press Service, the agreement was signed by APS Director General Samir Gaid and National Archives Director General Mohamed Bounaama. It aims to enhance scientific, historical, and cultural exchanges while respecting each institution’s objectives and prerogatives.
The National Archives will facilitate access to archives and exchange documents of historical and informative value, involve APS in organizing scientific and cultural events, and provide training in digitization and archive management for APS staff. The agreement also includes collaboration in research and analysis of national and international events.
