Rabat:Lower House Speaker received Yemen's Ambassador to Morocco in a recent meeting. During this encounter, the Yemeni ambassador, Al Asbahi, delivered a congratulatory message to Touizi from his Yemeni counterpart, celebrating his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Yemeni diplomat praised Morocco's ongoing democratic process and highlighted the historic appointment of Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri as Head of Government, marking her as the first woman to hold this position in the Kingdom's history.

The ambassador also expressed gratitude for Morocco's supportive stance on Yemen's security and stability, reaffirming Yemen's commitment to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Moroccan Kingdom. In response, Touizi emphasized Morocco's unwavering support for Yemen's stability, unity, and security under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.

Furthermore, Touizi acknowledged the strong fraternal bonds between the two nations, highlighting the House of Representatives' dedication to enhancing cooperation between their legislative bodies. This partnership aims to reflect the historical, civilizational, and cultural ties that connect Morocco and Yemen and their peoples.
