New York:Bahrain has reiterated its unwavering support for Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity during a session at the United Nations General Assembly’s 4th Committee.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Bahrain’s representative emphasized the country’s steadfast backing of Morocco’s autonomy initiative as a means to resolve the Western Sahara conflict. The representative highlighted Bahrain’s support for a “realistic, pragmatic and lasting political” solution, aligning with relevant Security Council resolutions, especially resolution 2797.

Bahrain’s statement underscores its consistent position on the issue, emphasizing the importance of Moroccan sovereignty in achieving a lasting resolution to the regional dispute.
