The Kingdom of Bahrain today welcomed the extension of the deal to export Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea ports for an additional two months.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the important step will contribute to strengthening and ensuring global food security.
It commended the efforts exerted by United Nations and Turkey in approving and extending this deal, reiterating Bahrain’s support to international efforts to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian crisis peacefully, in accordance with international law and the UN Charter, in order to restore security, peace and stability in the European continent, and the world at large.
