GAZA: The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported tonight the continued Israeli siege and complete curfew imposed on its headquarters and Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The intensive shelling in the vicinity of the hospital, the shooting and the intensified reinforcement of armored military vehicles coming in from all directions are flagrant violations of international laws and the Geneva Conventions, stressed PRCS in a statement.
PRCS said the occupation prohibits the movement of humanitarian teams, including ambulances, in blatant disregard of established norms.
The society expressed deep concern for the safety of its staff, patients and the thousands of displaced persons who sought refuge in its headquarters and the Al-Amal hospital.
