GAZA: At least 15 Palestinians were killed and many more injured today in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, one of which targeted an UNRWA school in al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, according to local and medical sources.

The attack on Al-Shati camp saw at least three Palestinians killed and 15 others injured when an Israeli airstrike struck an UNRWA school sheltering displaced people. The attack follows a massacre the previous day at another UNRWA school in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

WAFA correspondent reported that three citizens-Saadallah Abu Al-Amreen, Akram Aqilan, and Khaled Shahada-were killed and 15 others wounded, including critically, when Israeli warplanes bombed a room inside Asma School in Al-Shati refugee camp. The injured were transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the city for medical treatment.

Simultaneously, ten Palestinians were killed and others injured in an airstrike on the Tabash family’s home in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Yunis in sout
hern Gaza.

Furthermore, two citizens were murdered in an airstrike on the Al-Jaafrawi area east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, with their bodies taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city.

On Wednesday, Thursday night, Israeli forces committed a massacre by bombing the UNRWA Boys’ Preparatory School in Nuseirat refugee camp, which was sheltering displaced persons. This attack resulted in the killing of 40 citizens and injuries to many others.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, has resulted in 36,654 confirmed Palestinian fatalities, with the majority of the victims being children and women. The number of injured has so far reached 83,309, according to the local health authorities.
