SALFIT: Israeli colonists Wednesday morning bulldozed Palestinian’ lands in the Wadi Qana area, northwest of Salfit.

Activist Nazmi Al-Salman told WAFA that a number of colonists razed areas of Wadi Qana’s land, along the main street in Al-Bassa area, which is considered the center of the valley and a place frequently visited by visitors.

Al-Salman added that the aim of the bulldozing work is to place a fence along the road to isolate the southern area, Ain al-Bassa spring and the resource from the surroundings of the valley, to be a buffer zone for the benefit of the Yakir and Novim colonies.

He pointed out that the person responsible for the bulldozing work is one of the colonists from the illegal Qarni Shomron colony council and is known for his continuous violations against farmers.
