Deadly Israeli airstrike in Gaza results in 21 fatalities, including women and children


GAZA: A series of Israeli airstrikes on the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in southern Gaza has led to the deaths of 21 civilians, including 13 children, six women, and an infant, with many others injured. Local sources reported that the airstrikes specifically targeted areas housing displaced persons.

In addition to the fatalities, around 30 individuals were reported injured in the attacks, which also included strikes on the Al-Falah school in the same neighborhood, with victims being transported to the Baptist Hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, eight people were injured due to shelling at the University College of Applied Sciences in western Khan Younis, further escalating the humanitarian crisis in the region.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, so far resulting in the killing of more than 41,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of over 95,000 others.
