Casablanca: Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) have categorically denied any breach of their information systems or security databases, which are subject to the highest cybersecurity standards.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the DGSN-DGST hub released a statement asserting that the personal data recently published did not result from a breach of its security systems. The statement emphasized that the data is outdated and was sourced from databases managed by insurance companies and social security and health insurance agencies.

The statement also warns against the spread of manipulated photographs, which are misleadingly presented as depicting civil servants from various security services, as well as the dissemination of falsified documents presented as security documents. It highlighted that these images and documents are fake, noting the use of non-existent military uniforms and ranks not used within the DGSN. Additionally, the leaked documents contain incorrect visual identifiers and grammatical errors.

The DGSN-DGST hub refutes all reports alleging a breach of security data systems, which are not connected to networks open to the Internet. The source confirms that security investigations are ongoing under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to identify and apprehend individuals involved in the creation and dissemination of this false information.
