Cozens of civilians were killed this evening and others injured in the ongoing Israeli bombardment of different areas of the Gaza Strip. Sources said that Israeli warplanes shelled the Zagazouk family home in the Khan Younis camp in the south of the Strip, killing a child and injuring many others. Warplanes also launched an air raid on the home of the Fayyad family in the town of Qarara east of Khan Younis, which led to the killing of six civilians, including women and children, and the wounding of several others. Israeli warplanes reportedly dropped leaflets on the areas of Khoza’a, Abasan, al-Qarara, and Bani Suheila, demanding the people of the Strip to leave their homes and move to the city of Khan Yunis. Local sources said Israeli warcraft bombed the Sabra Mosque in the Sabra neighborhood of the Gaza governorate, as well as the Al-Taqwa Mosque near Sheikh Radwan, a district of Gaza City. Warplanes also targeted a house located adjacent to the Imam al-Shafi’i Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, sout
h of Gaza, which led to the collapse of parts of the mosque’s walls and the injury of several civilians. In the center of the Gaza Strip, dozens of civilians were killed and wounded in an Israeli strike targeting several apartments in a residential building in the Nuseirat refugee camp. Two civilians were also killed in the shelling of a house in the Bureij refugee camp, in the center of Gaza. Eyewitnesses also reported that work was stopped at Al Salam Flour Mills, in Deir al-Balah due to the Israeli artillery shelling. Israeli forces stationed on the Gaza-Israel barrier to the east, bombed the only flour mill that was operating in the Strip, causing it to stop working. With the bombing of that only flour mill, the entire Gaza Strip stopped producing flour. In the north, occupation warplanes repeatedly bombarded the vicinity of the Indonesian hospital.
