Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, led by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to combat drug trafficking.
Dr. Juma noted that the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking represents an opportunity to highlight the Interior Ministry's efforts to combat this scourge.
He highlighted Interior Ministry's cooperation and coordination with other ministries and competent authorities, particularly the Ministry of Education which implements programmes to enhance students' awareness to protect them during the school year.
