Bahrain Ambassador-Designate to Egypt, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, met here today the Speaker of Egypt's House of Representatives, Dr. Hanafy Ali El-Gebali.
The ambassador lauded the advanced level reached by the fraternal Bahraini-Egyptian relations, thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, and their keenness to constantly enhance bilateral ties.
She asserted that the solid bilateral parliamentary relations prove the strength of bilateral ties, noting that, as an ambassador, she will spare no effort in order to consolidate joint cooperation on activating the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed by the legislative branches in the two countries to serve common interests at all levels.
Dr. Gebali congratulated Ambassador Zainal on her appointment to her post, wishing her every success in carrying out her new duties in order to strengthen relations between the two countries and their peoples.
