FAR Inspector General and Kenya’s Defense Chief Discuss Military Cooperation


Rabat: Upon High Instructions from His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, FAR Inspector General and Commander of the South Zone, received on Monday in Rabat, Kenya’s Chief of Defense Forces, General Charles Muriu Kahariri, currently on a working visit to Morocco from March 30 to April 3rd, at the head of a senior military delegation.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the meeting, held at the headquarters of the FAR General Staff, provided an opportunity for both officials to highlight the friendship ties and military cooperation uniting Morocco and Kenya. FAR Inspector General and Kenya’s Chief of Defense Forces also voiced their shared willingness to further bolster these relations in the same spirit of friendship and mutual trust.

Additionally, a defense cooperation agreement project is currently being studied as part of the promotion of exchanges between both countries’ armies, says the statement.
