Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received here today James Holmes, Secretary-General of the UK-based International Communities Organisation (ICO), along with Siddiqua Masud-Ahmad. Manager of ICO’s Management International University, currently on a visit to the kingdom.
The minister lauded the long-standing distinguished Bahrain-UK relations, which are growing steadily in all fields, praising the British government’s interest in strengthening relations with Bahrain in all vital sectors.
James Holmes expressed his pleasure at visiting the Kingdom to learn about its outstanding achievements in the areas of sustainable development, protection of human rights, and the consolidation of tolerance and human coexistence.
He added that the delegation wanted to collect first-hand information about Bahrain’s experience in the fields of training, skills development and capacity building, as well as to discuss opportunities for developing joint cooperation in them.
