Former Senegalese PM Commends Morocco’s Deep African Ties Through Royal Vision


Rabat: The Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, continues to maintain deep-rooted connections with Africa, as stated by former Senegalese Prime Minister Amadou Ba. He praised the royal vision that sustains these ties and transcends various contexts and circumstances.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Ba emphasized that Morocco’s African roots are not temporary or circumstantial. Instead, they are a result of a strategic choice upheld consistently by the Sovereign, grounded in human and civilizational aspects.

In a statement to MAP, Ba highlighted the distinctiveness of this vision, marked by its rational approach, analytical depth, and accurate assessment of events’ meanings. He noted that Morocco’s relationships with African countries are based on a shared history, vision, and destiny, characterized by solidarity, fraternity, and mutual respect.

Ba further elaborated that Morocco’s ties with the African continent, especially with Senegal, extend beyond the econo
mic and emotional aspects of sports. He acknowledged the significant efforts by Morocco to support Africa’s development.

Highlighting the special relationship between Morocco and Senegal, Ba noted the frequent exchanges and deep historical ties that are continually strengthened. He warned against attempts to undermine these solid bilateral relations through manipulation or denigration.

Moreover, Ba commended Morocco for its successful organization of the Africa Cup of Nations, adhering to international standards, demonstrating Africa’s and Morocco’s capabilities in hosting large-scale events.
