Rabat: Several members of the French government highlighted Thursday evening in Paris Morocco’s development momentum under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, while emphasizing deep exceptional and reinforced partnership between Morocco and France.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during a reception held by the Moroccan Embassy in Paris and the Kingdom’s Permanent Delegation to UNESCO to mark the glorious Throne Day, Minister for Francophonie, International Partnerships, and French Nationals Abroad Eleonore Caroit expressed her satisfaction with the quality of cooperation between France and Morocco. She noted that the two countries are working together to implement major infrastructure projects of significant importance for development.

Caroit also highlighted the major progress made by Morocco in various fields, saying it attests to the strength of the strategic partnership between Morocco and France, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Benjamin Haddad, the Minister for European Affairs, praised the unwavering friendship between the French and Moroccan peoples, as well as the cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields. He noted that bilateral cooperation has accelerated significantly in recent years, particularly through signing several agreements covering various fields, including the economic, technological, cultural, and agricultural sectors.

In turn, the Minister for Overseas Territories, Nama Moutchou, spoke of the economic and social progress the Kingdom has made over the past 27 years under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, praising a “historic and remarkable” development momentum. Moutchou highlighted the efforts made to address social issues, equality, equity, and, more broadly, justice within the Kingdom, noting that they serve as a source of inspiration for many countries.
