French Interior Minister Highlights Robust Security Ties with Morocco


Rabat: French Interior Minister G©rald Darmanin has praised the strong security cooperation between France and Morocco, particularly in the domains of counterterrorism and combating organized crime. Following his meeting with Moroccan Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, Darmanin expressed his commitment to maintaining and enhancing this partnership.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Darmanin emphasized the high level of cooperation that exists between the two nations, characterizing it as essential for addressing security issues. He noted that the ties between France and Morocco are significant and are expected to strengthen further.



Darmanin highlighted the broad scope of the collaborative efforts, which extend to various security challenges, including civil security. He underscored the importance of his visit to Morocco, reiterating to his Moroccan counterpart the intent to continue fortifying their joint efforts in ensuring security.
