Morocco and Kazakhstan Strengthen Bilateral Ties Through High-Level Talks


Rabat: The government head of Morocco recently held discussions with the chairman of Kazakhstan’s Mazhilis, focusing on the enhancement of relations and solidarity between the two nations. The talks underscored the commitment of both countries’ leaders, His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco and His Excellency President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, to foster strong bilateral ties.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Moroccan government head, Akhannouch, shared insights on Morocco’s ongoing structural reforms and major projects guided by the leadership of King Mohammed VI. He highlighted the government’s dedication to executing the Royal Vision, which aims to expedite Morocco’s development.



During the meeting, the officials acknowledged the alignment of Morocco and Kazakhstan’s positions on various mutual interests, expressing appreciation for their mutual support on the international stage, particularly within the United Nations. They commended Kazakhstan for backing Morocco’s territorial integrity and supporting the autonomy plan as the sole viable framework for resolving the Sahara dispute.



The discussion also emphasized the need to bolster parliamentary cooperation and invigorate parliamentary diplomacy to advance the political, economic, and cultural interests of both countries.
