Rabat: The teams are among 36 nations set to compete at the event, which will be hosted at the Tanah Merah Country Club, the Federation said in a press release.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, qualification was based on individual player standings in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), as reflected in the official list published by the International Golf Federation on July 2. This marks Morocco’s second consecutive full qualification for the championships.
The women’s team will compete for the Espirito Santo Trophy from October 1 to 4, while the men’s team will contest the Eisenhower Trophy from October 8 to 11.
Morocco achieved its best-ever results at the 2023 edition in Abu Dhabi, finishing 23rd in the women’s ranking and 24th in the men’s, the FRMG noted.
As the only Arab country qualified for the 2025 WATC, Morocco will also represent the broader region on the global amateur golf stage, the statement added.
