Rabat: The Government Council of Morocco was briefed on Thursday in Rabat on an agreement concluded on October 5, 2025, in Amman between the governments of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan concerning judicial and legal assistance in criminal matters.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Council also reviewed draft law No. 012.26 approving the said agreement, said Mustapha Baitas, Minister Delegate in Charge of Relations with Parliament and Government Spokesperson, during a press briefing following the Council meeting.

Both texts were presented by the Ministry of Justice of Morocco on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
