Government hospitals and the Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC) launched a new partnership to enhance cooperation.
Government hospitals CEO Dr. Ahmed Mohammad Al Ansari and NVTC CEO Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Nuaimi were present.
The agreement came upon the directives of the government hospitals Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa to improve the quality of healthcare and services provided.
Dr. Al Ansari affirmed the importance of strengthening partnerships and exchanging experiences between various government sectors and institutions to advance the health sector in the Kingdom.
He stressed that the agreement will enable government hospitals to participate in using the facilities of HH Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Centre as a pivotal establishment for carrying out all artificial intelligence research for government hospitals employees and implementing artificial intelligence techniques in various administrative and health operations.
The uses include sensor and control systems for medicinal storage to maintain effective usage and the use of predictive quantities techniques that predicts the number of medicine and patients visiting hospitals.
They can also benefit from the chatbots that provide consultations in advanced applications and the use of smart control panels.
The government hospitals CEO expressed his desire to cooperate with NVTC for the proactive treatment of chronic diseases, genetic diseases, and tumors through prediction technology, which helps early detect diseases, determines appropriate treatment programs, and determines the number of doctors needed to treat patients, contributing to a higher level of readiness and preparation.
He praised the high quality of technical and vocational education provided by NVTC and its quality initiatives, which include innovation and development through smart solutions in business environments and various sectors, led by the HH Shaikh Nasser Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center.
Al Nuaimi expressed his optimism in the partnership to provide the best medical services in the Kingdom and rank among developed countries in this field.
