Nairobi: The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, representing His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the ‘Africa Forward’ Summit in Nairobi, participated in a dinner hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto. This event, held on Monday at the State House, was in honor of the heads of state and government attending the summit.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Moroccan delegation at the summit includes several key officials: the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Leila Benali; the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Amine Tehraoui; and the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and the Evaluation of Public Policies, Karim Zidane.
The delegation is also bolstered by a significant presence from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), led by its president, Chakib Alj, alongside several representatives from the Moroccan private sector.
The ‘Africa Forward’ Summit serves as a platform for numerous heads of state and government to discuss the potential for bolstering partnerships between Africa and France. The summit proceedings are particularly focused on fostering balanced and concrete partnerships, emphasizing cross-investments, economic development, training, and collaborative responses to global challenges.
