Cairo, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, met with Dr. Khaled Abdelghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development Affairs and Minister of Health and Population of Egypt, on the sidelines of the second edition of the Global Conference on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC’24), held in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting discussed and reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the health sector.
Minister Dr. Al Sayed highlighted the excellent organisation and valuable discussions between participants in health and human development. She noted the focus on challenges and innovative solutions for improving global health.
The meeting also emphasised the strong Bahrain-Egypt relations across various sectors, underscoring their commitment to enhancing cooperation, particularly through the exchange of expertise and investment in the health sector, to advance services within joint Arab efforts.
