Rabat: A heat wave is expected in several provinces of the Kingdom from Saturday through Monday, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) in an orange-level weather alert.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, with temperatures ranging from 44 to 46 °C, this heat wave will affect provinces of Oued Ed-Dahab, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Tata, Zagora, and Boujdour.
The same conditions, with temperatures between 40 and 44 °C, are forecast for the provinces of Taza, Taroudant, Tinghir, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Settat, El Kalaa Sraghna, Jerada, Oujda-Angad, Taourirt, Beni Mellal, Boulemane, and Guercif.
During the same period, Essaouira will experience temperatures ranging from 38 to 40 °C.
