Rabat: His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the members of the family of the late Hassan Akesbi, a former player of the Moroccan national soccer team. According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the King conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, friends, and fans of the deceased, as well as the broader national sporting community. He acknowledged Akesbi as a pioneering figure in Moroccan soccer, whose contributions since the 1950s left a lasting impact on both national and international levels. Akesbi’s remarkable performance secured him a distinguished position among the best strikers globally.
