Rabat: HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Abdelilah Benkirane on his re-election as Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party (PJD). In his message, the Sovereign expressed his congratulations to the PJD Secretary General on the confidence placed in him by the party’s 9th National Congress.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, His Majesty the King extended to Mr. Benkirane sincere wishes for success in continuing his duties. The King highlighted the importance of strengthening the party’s position on the national political stage and reinforcing its active participation alongside other honorable political parties and institutions. The message emphasized providing guidance to citizens with seriousness and responsibility, serving the general interest, and supporting the overall development process under the King’s leadership to advance towards greater modernity, progress, and prosperity.

The Sovereign also instructed the PJD Secretary General to convey his esteem to all PJD members. He praised their unwavering commitment to the sacred values and constants of the Nation and their firm determination to serve the supreme interests of the homeland above all other considerations.
