Rabat: His Majesty King Mohammed VI offered a luncheon on Thursday in honor of French Prime Minister S©bastien Lecornu and his accompanying delegation. The event was presided over by Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the luncheon was notably attended by key figures including French Minister of the Interior Laurent Nu±ez, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean No«l Barrot, and France’s Ambassador to Morocco Philippe Lalliot. Members of Lecornu’s delegation were also present at the gathering.
The Moroccan side was represented by various high-ranking officials such as Speaker of the House of Representatives Rachid Talbi El Alami, Advisors to His Majesty the King Omar Azziman and Omar Kabbaj, Minister of the Interior Abdelouafi Laftit, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita.
The luncheon followed the co-chairing of the 15th session of the Morocco-France High Level Meeting by Akhannouch and Lecornu. This meeting aimed to reinforce the exceptional partnership between Morocco and France, a collaboration underscored by the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The session concluded with the signing of several cooperation and partnership agreements, marking a significant step in the ongoing bilateral relations between the two nations.
