In this message, the Sovereign says he learned with deep sorrow and emotion the news of the passing of the late Aicha Ech-Channa, may the Almighty accept her among the virtuous and welcome her into His vast paradise.
On this sad occasion, His Majesty the King expresses to the family members of the deceased, and through them to their relatives, as well as to her friends and admirers, His deepest condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion following the passing of one of the pioneers of associative action and human rights defense in Morocco, who devoted her life to serving Moroccan women and to defending their causes with so much strength, audacity and abnegation, which earned her the love and respect of people.
The Sovereign shares the sorrow of the bereaved family following this loss, , the divine will being unstoppable,recalling the qualities of the late Aicha Ech-Channa, her sincere patriotism, and her spirit of militancy and humanism.
HM the King prays the Most High to grant patience and comfort to the family members of the deceased, to surround the late Aicha Ech-Channa with his infinite mercy, and to reward her amply for the commendable services rendered to her homeland.
