Rabat: In a statement to MAP, Archbishop Atallah Hanna praised this Royal initiative aimed at providing aid to the people of Gaza, noting that this act of kindness is not unusual for His Majesty the King, who has tirelessly defended the rights of the Palestinian people.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, ‘From Al Quds, we convey our greetings and express our deep gratitude to His Majesty the King for His noble humanitarian positions and His unwavering support for the Palestinian people, through the successive aid sent to the suffering people of Gaza,’ he added.

Archbishop Hanna also emphasized that such humanitarian initiatives reflect Morocco’s steadfast solidarity under the leadership of His Majesty the King, expressing his sincere gratitude to the Sovereign for His continuous support of the Palestinian people, His defense of the Palestinian cause, and His call to end Gazans’ distress.

The Archbishop also expressed his wish to see war come to an end, so that Palestinian people could regain their long-awaited freedom, and to witness peace and stability in the Middle East region.
