HM the King’s Vision Plays Key Role in Africa’s Development, Says CEMAC Parliament Head

Rabat: In an interview with MAP as part of the lead-up to Throne Day celebrations, Ngamana emphasized that since His enthronement, His Majesty the King has launched significant initiatives for Africa, which have earned widespread recognition across the continent.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Ngamana stated that “His Majesty the King’s clear-sighted Vision represents a model of win-win cooperation across the world.” He described His Majesty King Mohammed VI as a visionary leader for Africa, highlighting the major contributions the Sovereign has made to the development of both Morocco and the continent. This includes fostering South-South cooperation and the economic growth of Africa.

The Central African official cited the Royal Initiative to enable Atlantic ocean access for Sahel countries and the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline project as models of African integration. He pointed out that the African Atlantic Gas Pipeline project, which will cross around fifteen beneficiary countries, will contribute to the socio-economic development of these states.

Ngamana also noted that the major port project in Dakhla will open the Kingdom’s Atlantic front to other African countries and serve the continent from the Sahel region. This project is expected to enable a significant economic leap not only for those countries but also for landlocked states, including the Central African Republic.
