Hot Weather Forecast on Weekend in Several Moroccan Provinces


Rabat: Hot weather is forecast on Saturday and Sunday in several provinces of Morocco, with temperatures fluctuating between 38 and 43°C, according to an orange-level alert issued by the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM). These temperatures are expected in the provinces of Ouezzane, Guercif, Taza, Taouante, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Settat, and El Kelaa des Sraghna, says the same source.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Directorate General of Meteorology has issued an orange-level alert, indicating significant temperature rises over the weekend. The alert highlights the potential for discomfort and urges residents and visitors in the affected areas to take necessary precautions to cope with the high temperatures.

The provinces expected to experience this heatwave include Ouezzane, Guercif, Taza, Taouante, Khouribga, Fquih Ben Salah, Settat, and El Kelaa des Sraghna. Residents in these areas are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and take protective measu
res to guard against heat-related illnesses.
