New york: For an associate professor of law at the University of Caen-Normandy, the uniqueness of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people lies in its issuance at an extremely difficult time in the region, at the instructions of a Sovereign with the special status of ‘Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee and promoter of a realistic and pragmatic diplomatic policy that turned the Kingdom into a recognized player’ by all states worldwide.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the associate professor highlighted that Morocco is succeeding in providing real aid, both tangible and diplomatic, without making sweeping statements like some other actors. Boutin emphasized that the Palestinian people require material aid for survival, rather than media stunts by foreign actors concerned only with their image.

The French political scientist also noted that this is not the first humanitarian aid convoy dispatched by Morocco since the onset of the crisis. He mentioned that His Majesty the King, as a promoter of Morocco’s realistic diplomatic policy, has consistently remembered the suffering people of Palestine. Through his personal influence, the Sovereign is able to initiate actions to assist them in the current crisis.
