A group of armed Israeli colonists launched an attack this evening on a Palestinian house in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, vandalizing its contents and forcing its residents to flee, according to local sources. Mohammed Abdel Rahman Jabareen, a local Palestinian citizen, described the harrowing incident to WAFA. He revealed that a group of armed colonists, accompanied by Israeli occupation soldiers, attacked his home in the Sha’b Al-Batm hamlet in Masafer Yatta region. He said the colonists compelled his family, which includes nine members, including children and women, to evacuate the premises before proceeding to shatter windows, doors, and the household furniture. Jabareen pointed out that such attacks are intended to intimidate and pressure Palestinian residents into leaving their lands and homes, noting that this was the third attack his family had endured in less than a week. In the past week, Israeli colonists had previously destroyed water tanks, contaminated wells, uprooted saplings, and engaged in physical assaults, including beatings and death threats to local residents.
