NABLUS: Israeli colonists today attacked Palestinian-owned vehicles in the villages of Asira al-Qibliya and Urif, south of Nablus.

Local sources said that a security guard from the illegal colony of Yitzhar set up a flying checkpoint between the villages of Asira al-Qibliya and Urif and proceeded to open heavy gun fire towards civilians’ vehicles, jeopardizing their safety and forcing them to take long rough roads to reach their destinations.

However, no injuries or damage were reported following the attack incident.

The Palestinian villages in the province of Nablus have been witnessing a surge in colonists’ attacks and violence.
