Israeli colonists today forced at gunpoint a Palestinian family to leave its land in the town of Tuquo, southeast of Bethlehem, and seized the family’s furniture, solar cells, and water tanks, according to a local official. Hasan Breijieh, from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission in the Bethlehem Governorate, told WAFA correspondent that colonists forced Mahmoud Hammad Jibril, 60, and his family to leave their land east of the Tuquo wilderness. He said the colonists seized the family’s furniture, solar cells, water tanks, and other stuff used for its livestock. Jibril, said Breijieh, has lived in that area for 20 years, grazing his sheep, which is the family’s only source of livelihood.
