NABLUS: Israeli occupation bulldozers Tuesday morning began demolishing a Palestinian house in the village of Duma, south of Nablus.
The head of the Duma village council, Suleiman Dawabsheh, said that the occupation forces stormed the village accompanied by three bulldozers and began demolishing a four-story house in the western part of the village owned by local resident Mamoun Dawabsheh.
He pointed out that the cost of building the house reached about two million shekels, stressing that the village is being subjected to a fierce attack by the occupation forces, targeting homes and demolishing some of them, in addition to the repeated attacks by colonists.
The report made by the Wall and Settlement Authority during the first half of 2024 shows that the occupation forces carried out 243 demolition operations in various governorates of the West Bank, affecting 318 various facilities. In the Jericho and Jordan Valley Governorate, 28 facilities were demolished, and in Hebron, 66 facilities were demolished.

n Jerusalem, 85 facilities were demolished, while in Bethlehem, 31 facilities were demolished, in Jenin, 34 facilities were demolished, in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, 10 facilities were demolished, and in Salfit, 3 facilities were demolished.
In Tulkarm, 21 facilities were demolished, in Qalqilya, 16 facilities were demolished, and in Nablus, 24 facilities were demolished. In total, 137 inhabited homes, 36 uninhabited homes, 63 sources of livelihood, 61 agricultural facilities, and 21 other facilities were demolished, bringing the total number of demolished facilities to 318, compared to 313 facilities demolished during the entire year of 2023, indicating an unprecedented escalation in demolitions.
